Transcranial doppler: Ultrasounds are sent through the skull toward a cerebral artery. The wavelength of these ultrasounds are proportionally shifted by the blood cell running into the artery
Gas analyser: It analyses the breathing gas while a turbine determines the respiratory volumes on a breath by breath basis

Electrocardiograph: Heart beat result from a spontaneous electrical activity of the heart muscle: the electrocardiogram

Finometer: A device to get the instantaneous blood pressure by means of finger photoplethysmography (a cuff that also transilluminates the finger). It also provides the stroke volume and peripheral resistance by analysing the shape of the intra-beat blood pressure curve
Laser doppler: The light of a laser put on the skin surface illuminates it. The wavelenght of the laser light is proportionally shifted by the blood cell speed running through the skin

Monitor of TransCunateous Partial pressure of Oxygen (TCPO2): The blood carries oxygen everywhere in the body including to the skin. After living the smallest vessels the oxygen diffuse through the skin to reach all the skin cells. Probes of this device measure this oxygen that diffuse through the skin.
